Well, I haven't followed this too closely, but the Justice Dept. is, I believe, asserting that he promised to stop doing a certain thing, bundling stuff or something to make you use his browser and other software, thusly, with this promise, settling a suit they had against him a while back; and now they're saying he didn't refrain from these practices at all, in spite of telling the public he was going to, that, to the contrary, he has continued them in spite of his agreement, forcing them to institute another suit that will cost shareholders millions and millions of dollars just in fines and leave them in some mystification regarding what the future practices of the company can be, if its current ones are judged to be violations of anti trust law. |
