Sounds like human activity may mitigate the effects of a Grand Solar Minimum, but not prevent it
The problem we have is that there is very little scientific data to be found on the effects of a Grand Solar Minimum.. All we have is historical anecdotes about extreme weather, crop losses.. "hunger stones" (google)..etc..

We can't really scientifically state how the albedo of the planet was impacted by cosmic ray induced cloud nucleation, or increased volcanism.. We have ice core data (with volcanic ash layers)..

But one thing I'm seeing, as an observer of EQs and Volcanoes, is that we're seeing a marked uptick in activity. And some of this volcanic and seismic activity is occurring right around some of the scariest volcanoes on earth.. (Sinabung/Toba.. Rinjani/Samalas in Lombok, Indonesia).. etc, etc.. Any one of those going off in a massive blast could see us enjoy a few years without summer..
