This is the weekly update of the performance of the SOXM stocks and major indices since the 1st of the year to Friday's close in actual and percent terms in table and chart formats.

Now based on this "picture", the smart thing to do on 12/29/17 was to sell all other stocks, mortgage the house to the maximum, and put all that money on 9 month calls for AMD. Having done this and selling now, a person could be retired, say in the Bahamas or some place similar, on the beach(with your umbrella shading the sun) sipping mint juleps watching the waves gently lapping on the sandy shore, and you could do that for as long as you wanted.

Now mind you, if you want to be greedy, hang on to the stock for now because the analysts and market think there is a lot more gain where that came from. I just saw an article today with a headline that said, "now is the time to buy AMD at 27.38". Don't be bashful, just step right up, don't wait or you will miss out! But for pity sake, do not buy MU, LRCX, AMAT or MKSI, there is a lot more downside ahead. Memory companies are --- dead, dead, dead. Remember, you read it here first where you always get the straight scoop.:-)
