I was thinking of the Star Spangled Banner. But why does God Bless America annoy you? We were founded by Christians and for most of this country's history, we were a majority Christian nation. Those are where our values came from. BTW, I did go to a Catholic School and am a Catholic. And yes, we said the Pledge of Allegiance and the Our Father every morning. My father taught me to respect this country, but to understand its flaws. Nowadays, it's greatest flaw is the outsized influence the libtard socialists have in this country. They want to bring to this country what my family fled. Socialism is destructive and ultimately impoverishes and kills people. Capitalism is Freedom. 50% or more of Americans have no understanding of that. That is the biggest threat to the future of this country in my lifetime.
