"It annoys me when someone says I have to stand and pretend it's the national anthem.." You don't, but it's traditional to stand in your half of the 7th. The song used to be "Take me out to the ballgame." You don't realize who your talking to........"Take me out to the ballgame was sung in Chicago for the Cubs...." by a man named Harry Caray......maybe a couple of other places... We had a seventh inning stretch in Yankee Stadium until 9-11.... I love the Red Sox "Sweet Caroline"..
