Unfortunately, I was just informed that all 600 employees of the San Jose R&D plant just received their pink slips this morning!!! One of my best friends is one of the managers there, and it is a damn shame to see him go through this situation. It is very hard to work for a company for a very long time, and get screwed like this. Now and days, everything is short term, and the name of the game as Janet Jackson sings is "What have you done for me lately??"
