It would be hard for me to be xenophobic, given that my family was welcomed into this country as immigrants. I think immigration is a foundational feature of this country, but it has to be done smartly. What you want are hard working, preferably educated, people with values similar to this country's. What you don't want are people who hate this country, will refuse to integrate, and become a deep drain on this country's resources. Look at what is happening in Sweden, Germany, and other European countries.
