Which means that his firm bought a boatload of it and is now stuck with a disappointing train wreck of a stock that refuses to move and generate income for their brokers. They are trying to dump it on poor unsuspecting investors who buy into a Zip story that is now 3 years old-- Ancient History by tech standards. Zip has already failed in its attempt to replace the floppy. CD-Roms have become THE STANDARD in software distribution, and small files are now emailed. The only niche left is larger file transfer between non-networked computers, and Zip has become "standard" on only about 5% of new computers.

Even the new Presario line tells the story. Of the 5 new models of Compaq Presario, only one includes a Zip.
