Here is another angle on the 0.9 gold opt value (perhaps a little cynical) from the news release.

Perhaps this particular flawed test result (out of many countless good runs) was chosen because it had less of a sensational impact. Maybe Ledoux is very apprehensive about reporting all it really knows about Naxos dirt. Perhaps other similar treated COC samples showed well over 6 opt, but Ledoux management, for "undisclosed reasons", decided that it was not in their best business interest (at this time) to tell the whole story. Do you think that the reporting of 0.9 opt for Johnson's final treatment step was truly the only certifiable entry in the many research notebooks at Ledoux? Good grief, does it take 4 months for a reputable lab to do this? Do you think that Ledoux is this incapable?

At this juncture, maybe Ledoux was afraid to make "history"?

And the absence of credible commmentary on platinum, after the previous release, makes you wonder what is really going on in the board room at Ledoux.

p.s.
Sorry Henry, my comment about shorts was not intended for you.
