I agree with you there. However, freedom of speech cannot be left to corporate CEOs to implement whatever they want. That's why Citizens United was such a disgrace. It makes a mockery of one man one vote, because corporate funds will always drown out the voices of the poor masses. I think you and I will have to agree to disagree on this one. I believe we will not be able to maintain our freedom nor our Democracy unless we secure our free speech from corporate predations. You believe corporations are good stewards of our fundamental freedoms. These are diametrically opposed opinions and irreconcilable.

The only thing I have left to say is this. My family came from a country where the Dictator controlled all speech. In controlling speech, he squashed dissent and consolidated power. Google and Facebook have that power in this country. They are ideologically aligned to the Democrats. The Democrats are actively using that alliance to squash dissent. If left unchecked, this will become a one party country. The Democrats are now fully embracing Socialism. Combine full power to control propaganda and speech with Socialism and we have tyranny. This is not speculation. It is a well worn playbook that works over and over and over again to turn free countries into slaves. They did it in Russia. They did it in China. They did it in Cuba. They did it in Venezuela. Every few decades they do it in Argentina. These things never end well. I am really dismayed that ignorance of history is causing Americans to be duped into allowing this to happen in the US. You will all regret it mightily. My family lost everything and had to rebuild in this country. You will see that here if you persist. But if the US goes under, then the whole world will feel the ripple effects of the earthquake when the world's last potent defender of freedom is gone. Please don't be so naive to believe that it can't happen here. It can and it will, unless the American people get educated and move to quickly secure their fundamental rights, including free speech.
