Harold these bid and ask numbers on Nasdaq stocks are meaningless. To look for buying or selling pressure you need a RT data provider, such as AT Attitude or Track Online, where trades are recorded throughout the day as occuring at the bid or at the ask, or in between.

The data you follow maybe useful to follow stocks on an auction exchange. Try following an NYSE issue with your theory.
