Hi Dieter, sure does look that way. I may be jumping the gun...maybe this will be straightened out as they issue a statement, if they issue a statement. Based on the gag order and the advise not to publish a previous interview with the Novonyx ex-CEO, sounds like it was not a happy departure. Sounds further that Novell was not expecting this news to get out prematurely, or at least did everything in their power to prevent it.

Although when news like this leaks imaginations tend to run with the lack of details, it seems that someone is trying very hard to control what news gets released. Typical of the Novell/Novonyx relationship. I'm surprised the investing public never pushed for more information on this issue.

FWIW, I seem to remember back before Novell went into stealth mode on Novonyx, one of the posters of this board got someone at Novell to suggest Novell funded 20% of the startup, Netscape funded x%, and the rest was funded privately. Anyone else remember this. It's all posted waaaay upthread somewhere.
