Hi Robert

NEW RELEASE

Greystar Resources Ltd -

Infill drilling results

Greystar Resources Ltd GSLShares issued 456253901998-01-14 close $0.9Thursday Jan 15 1998Mr David Rovig reports Results from seven infill holes drilled in the La Alta gold silver deposit confirm the independently calculated reserve value of 3.4 million ounces of gold for La Alta deposit alone. By drilling previously untested areas of the deposit on 50 metre centres, Greystar believes that both the confidence level and tonnage of the resource will continue to increase. The seven holes account for approximately 12% of the 1998 infill drilling program being carried out by two diamond drills at Greystar's wholly owned Angostura gold project in northeast Colombia. Previously released IF97-1 is included for the sake of completeness. IF97-1 Total Depth 375 m Inclination - 45 degrees Bearing due North

The geology of the drilled area consists of alternating bands of argillized, sericitized, and silicified pyritized porphyry. Most holes show anomalous gold values from top to bottom. Gold mineralization occurs often near surface, however thick bands of relatively higher gold grade were cut in hole IF97-6 between 170 and 250 metres vertically below surface.
