Had carpenter ants last year.....

used borax in hot powder sugared water.....

no more ants.

another good product is pharma grade diatomaceous earth.

put it in a duster and shot it any place you think a creep/crawl might travel.

haven't seen a spider since dusting basement last year.

it is edible and does not harm animals.

also using pymetherine for insects, bees and ticks in the yard and woods.

it's another "safe" alternative to otc products.
