Alexa, that is what actually happens to me from time to time in my office. I try to keep the books lined up with the front edge of the shelves, but there's something unstable about the supports and I will start to lift a book out, the shelf will tilt a little, and there I am making a dam with my elbows and wrists to stop this cascade of books. Sometimes it sets off the shelf below and I brace that with a knee. My interpretation of your dream is that it is warning you to avoid unstable book shelves. On the other hand--maybe it is predicting the stock market!
