Nothing Earth Shattering, recent IR update:

Thank you for your recent e-mail to TVI Pacific Inc.

To give you a brief update, TVI is still active with its exploration
program in the Philippines, and continues to receive substantial cash
flow from its drilling subsidiary, EDCO. The outlook for additional
drilling work in the region is bullish, and EDCO has recently begun work on a geotechnical project in Taiwan.

The polymetallic nature of TVI's more advanced projects, notably
Canatuan and Rapu Rapu, have made them very sensitive to changes in the price of metals other than gold. They both remain very attractive for TVI.

In light of current circumstances, TVI is maintaining a cautious and
conservative outlook for the near future, so that the company will
continue to be able to take advantage of the opportunities available to it in the region and in its existing asset portfolio.

The company continues to be very concerned about the current state of
the metals market and its effects on the junior sector and our own stock price. We are also carefully monitering the effects of economic news coming out of the south-east asian region.

If you would like any further information, please call me in Calgary at (403) 265-4356.

Thank you
Cyrus Ameli
