Hi Ed..thanks for asking...to make a long story as short as possible we have approx. 20 storm related deaths,entire municipalities are still without power ,people lucky enough to have gotten hold of a generator in order to keep their places heated are having to guard them so they don't walk and thousands of people are in shelters as we are in the midst of a deep freeze.
Its hard to imagine that the person next door can have power but your own won't be up for 7 - 10 days.
My own claim to hardship is the loss of many beatiful trees and being without cable for a couple of weeks...amounts to nothing compared to so many.
Drove up to my cottage night before last and found an absolute war zone,its literally like a jungle of debris but standing in the midst of all this is my cottage ,boathouse etc. without a mark...
..Maybe I just live right<g><g>.
