Do you think it caused a currency loss (maybe loss of confidence). I was alerted to this in some of my Pod casts but did not really pay too much attention other than potential for more corruption.

I do know that the Indians like their hard asset gold. China and Russia have been buying gold to add to their reserves to support their currency.
