Hi jake,

I had previously sold 40 Sept 21 35 puts through two accounts.

2500 shares were assigned to me in August in one account and 1500 shares were assigned to me the first week of Sept in my other account.

Those 40 puts averaged $2.50 which gave me a net cost or $32.50. That call on thursday actually put T over 34.00 early Friday.

I think T has scared many dividend investors and they have bought puts to protect their equity.

The slight dip to 30.13 on July 25th scared a lot of holders - its slow sideways movement since changed the hands of a lot of stock.

With this call and most likely others - there should e a repurchasing of stock from the weak hands that had sold.

T went through this similar move before it Bought Direct TV.

Once Stephenson proved that EBITDA would benefit T's cashflow (and it associated debt) from buying Direct TV and help pay the high yielding dividend the stock took off to the 43.89 on July 4th 2016 :

I hope we get another chance to sell $45.00 calls and supplement the 6/% plus dividend yield that the stock's low price has offered up!

Shouldn't be hard to get an 8% yield.

Bob
