Between the downing by Syria of the Russian airplane, and blaming Israel for it under false pretenses on one side and the Haifa idiotic debacle reminds me of the offer of Stalin to Eugene to joint Chiang Kai-shek faction in the KMT party and the offer of Stalin to Deng Yanda to head the Chinese communist party, and at the same time advertising in print that Eugene married Chingling in the Caucasus Mountains.

What IMHO actually happen was that the Russians got fed up with Israel roaming freely over the Syrian skies bombing Iranian troops and installation, and by this weakening Russia presence in Syria, and a conscious decision was made to sacrifice 15 Russian servicemen and blame it on Israel reckless conduct.

This was also a clear sign of dissatisfaction whit the fact that a Chinese company will control the biggest Israeli port about 154 miles from the Russian port in Tartus in Syria which by the Russian and Chinese perception of distances of a stone throw away.

There must be much more to the story which will do not know yet, and wonder for how long will the Russian close the international waters between Beirut Lebanon, Larnaka Cyprus, and Latakia Syria and the Turkish border. Interestingly there is mention of the French and British warships in the region who also fired some rockets toward Syria.
