Corporate earnings are up 25% says it all. No doubt with a window of lower taxes - the repurchase of shares will be a high priority. When a recessionary decline occurs - similar earnings could actually be consistent if done aggressively enough. To own a company's stock is to secure a small increment of that company's cash flow. I'm not a trader I'm an investor and a long term collector of dividends. If a company makes plans to stabilize their EPS and also stabilize their dividend - I'm long term supportive of that plan. Add growth to that equation and I'm a buyer on any dips. Bob
