Highway 50 Gold (HWY-V) Sept 25, '18 has commenced a two-hole, 2,400-metre drill program on its 50-per-cent-owned Monroe project, located in southeastern British Columbia.
To date, the company has completed eight drill holes covering an area of approximately 1.5 square kilometres. Significant amounts of lead-zinc mineralization have been encountered in all eight holes. Management believes that HWY-18-08, the most recent hole drilled, intersected a hydrothermal vent system that may be related to the extensive alteration and associated lead-zinc mineralization. Drill hole HWY-18-09 is an offset of HWY-18-08 and is intended to be a complete stratigraphic test of the system.
