Brett Kavanaugh delivered an emotional and angry rebuttal Thursday of the sexual-assault allegation that Dr. Christine Blasey Ford made against him. But legal experts said the most important piece of evidence regarding Kavanaugh's credibility didn't come from what he said, but what he didn't say. Kavanaugh repeatedly dodged Democratic lawmakers' questions about whether he would support an FBI investigation into Ford's claims, and whether he would be in favor of Mark Judge, who Ford says is an eyewitness to the alleged assault, to testify before the Senate. "This damages his credibility, perhaps irrevocably," said one former Justice Department prosecutor. "Focus on the only potential eye witness," said another. "Where is Mark Judge?"
