Greetings David S. I would be proud to be counted as Skippards friend.<G>
But David, seriously, in 1997 my portfolios were up (meaningfully beat S&P) and I will say flat out that I have profited by listening to what Skip has to say and then make our own decisions from there. Skip has ideas, lots of em. Some work, most don't, so what's new. "But you know that, eh?". I pay for ideas (that work) and then make my own decisions on how or how not to act, but I am a very very good listener. I have always taken Skips call, and aways will.
Be that as it may, your statement (I am sure it is not just a "claim") that your firm is in the top 10 for performance, and for 5 years, is, gee, to say the least, very impressive. AND if true, I WILL be impressed. But without proof, well....., you know the rest..........yawn.
Would you care to back up your statement with some verifyable proof? Because with out proof to support your strong statement, oh, and YOU personally being DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE for the/those portfolios as in, YOUR name is on the door and/or in the prospectus, it is not Skip who is THE dingleberry, sir. <VBG>
You can email me with your backup and it won't go any further. And no matter if you do or do not, lets give this a rest, it is unproductive. Really. I believe you have better things to do with your time and I know I do. How about we call it a truce. Over, and out.
