Jon- strictly off topic- private thoughts- New frontiers of global daytrading- 'Idea thread' is a subject of close study for a select group of journalists- they have been intrigued by internet interactive capability and possibilities which a fully globalised world brings together- I would assume that this is one of the few threads or only thread where host started it from a very poor thirld world country and called the market 'day in day out' since inception- not only that you will find interestingly enough cross refrenced post picked up from this thread by some other threads- I have been since April looking at 'Idea concept'and believe that like one fine morning Americans were made aware of ASEA and its impact on bottom lines otherwise until Oct days who cared for what's happening in ASEA we will in next few years see interactive global trading on net taking over as biggest export of budding talent in the emerging and developed world Promising young lads will define new frontiers of global markets- in a day I sit early morning in Pakistan and dabble with Japan Indonesia Malayasia India and Pakistan- now this is my corporate money and personel funds it is not the volume which keeps my 24 hours world of trading going it is the ease at which I can read and exchange info- I trade JPN index to Matif and Bund futures and all within a 24 hours day- my trading day rarely ever stops= I am free from my office I have five offices but none to be visited even back offices functions are being made redundant- my brokers on a good day will not shy to deal with counter parties likes of hedge funds like Tiger and Qntm taking trades exactly the opposite of what they are doing- imagine what 'daytrading' can bring to the economy of the world limitless opportunities- levels and benchmarks become habits. I will assume that slowly but quietly as Index and hedging become known as a more known and a acceptable instrument- we will not just see more of 'Bangalores' in world of internet and interactive trading- the brain drain of from the third world will become thing of the past- the export led economies which presently fight for share of world consumer markets will soon be paricipating thru wired economies to fight for the share of 'global equity markets mart' with total market cap of 40trillion $'s. In years to come the luxury of hedge funds and derivitatives will be shared by everyone and anyone hooked to internet- we are looking and are part of a global experience the geographical boundries are waning as trading in cyber space defines a new 'global wall street' with Nikkei HSI CAC DAX FTSE DJIA as integral components- the biggest traffic in next few years will come from emrging markets where 'export of trading ideas' and 'making money on back of ideas' will be a boom industry- I think soon we will see earnings/profits from 'global day trading' equalling even surpassing commodity exports of the developing world- millions of more threads and pages like 'Idea thread' will emerge - As my own staff staff has become less involved with emergence of ease of daily trading I have been closely folowing what we write here every day and compare our weekly recommendations with what actually happened in the market to my utter surprise- results so far has been nothing but impressive- the levels and details been posted again from 6000 miles away hold and not only that atleast on SI we have a unique distinction of posting levels in details with global picture in mind- for an individual to pull this on day inday out basis is again a possibility which is new extension of networking world- doing this at a distance and trading in JPN and NY for an individual with very low overheads and domestic line costs is what I think is so far unappreciated phenomenon- the first early signs of a successful 'daytraders' would be that he would become a part of global vilage free from address and a freely roam all around the globe treating each country as its own shunning national pride and prejuidices. Welcome to a truly global society that is what this 'great mass of humanity' with all its inherent problems is slowly but gradually moving towards. This is prototype experiment with lot of faults and 'many wrong calls' but I see it suceeding as I see down the road and look into future I dream of a day when 'global daytrading' will become more and more common ofcourse cyberspace has its limitations and have resulted in new kind of neighbourhoods lot of vain egos where lot of hot shots SI traders want and fight ingloriously for recognition of their trading skills- perpetual long and shot positions on paper are run with greatest possible skills-however all said and done 'losses or profits' this model is what lies in future for prospects of 'daytrading'- I see within a decade lot of young man quoting their professions as 'equity traders in cyberspace' with market interests in 'globsl economies and soon emrgence of a global equity index where you can hedge your global exposure thru a single index- Whichever way it happens this 'brain prowess' to exploit world equities currencies and commodities markets are going to be the biggest export item from countries like India Pakistan and other nations _ Although presently I am not aware of any other host on SI operating from cross boundries if there is one I will be pleased but I reckon the day that sooner than later we will be seeing our hosts calling levels from Bombay and Daccca on most speculative markets of the world the SPA- is it not an experiment to trade and make SPA look so easy from a long distance- the hunger to succeed will outstrip the calls of even the best on the street- the new 'Milkens and traders and vandals' are around the corner- this for me is a unique experiment and new possibility and I hope will be remembered as such- I hope this story of mine have not burdened you but may be you find something interesting to share with your friends like my daily levels.gg
