Dear Threaders,

The past is often a guide to the future. And a company's past is often a guide to its future.

But folks -- without getting too metaphysical -- THIS IS A DIFFERENT COMPANY!

Of course the library of Traditional Chinese Medicines endures. And the technology endures. Thus, all the potential endures. But Rhodes has hit the road -- without his shares. And his cronies have exited with him. This is the group that made promises it failed to keep, and drove off the company's talent. But the fact that they did it constitutes no reason at all for believing that the new leadership/ownership will follow that pattern. Further bolstering this point: how hard the new leadership fought to wrest control away from Rhodes & the Rhodies.

Comparing the new company and the old is not (even) like comparing apples and oranges -- its more like comparing Good and Evil.

I do not believe that the former directors had any intention of making the company a success -- I think they were pursuing an entirely different agenda. So I'm (more than) anxious to see the make-up, and the abilities, of the new Board.

More particularly, I want to know: Do they understand the problems that confront Paracelsian? Do they have the expertise, the resources, and the drive to solve those problems?

If the answer to all these questions is "yes" -- but only if it is -- then we'll witness the realization of Paracelsian's potential.

Time for a golden oldie: Go PRLN!
