Hi Betty. One thing you've missed is a tour of duty. The military won't even put keys in their HumVee, They can't even be locked. No military or police will lock their firearms without argument. Shotguns in patrol cars are locked and that is accepted because they have sidearms. Another complaint about locks is that if you are injured or have to use someone elses weapon, it could make it impossible to defend yourself. P.S. I have found that putting a key into a trigger lock is faster than combination locks. Last idea the wrist radio signal locks can be over-come or blocked by a strong signal by the wrong people.
