You know, people so OFTEN make this same MISTAKE ... in order to support whatever end result they want, they grasp at ONE "poll" that gives them the answer that they would like to see and say ... "There I told you, things are not going the way you think they are !!!" Well, if you know ANYTHING about polling YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT YOU CANNOT RELY ON THE ANSWER GIVEN BY JUST ONE POLL !! You have to consider SEVERAL POLLS, preferably with those that have shown reasonably accurate forecasts in the past, and then do some aggregating ... otherwise you are just wasting your time and "grand standing about nothing". Let's not forget that a "poll" is where, say, 500 people are asked their opinion about something and then the "Statistical Scientists" will tell you that that represents the OVERALL OPINION OF ABOUT 5 000 000 !! At the end of the day, the MOST ACCURATE POLL OF ALL is an ACTUAL ELECTION ... the rest is often just "smoke and mirrors". If you don't believe me, just think back to what the "Polls" predicted before Donald Trump won the 2016 election !!
