From the VVUS Q4 report:

<<Product revenues for the fourth quarter were $29.0 million, a decrease of $10.1 million or
26 percent from the third quarter. >>

Well, of course revenues are down 26%. The company announced that production was going to be reduced 25%, they are selling all they can make so revenue must go down about the same amount. But wait a minute. They announced the drop in production in early December, if memory serves, yet revenues for the ENTIRE quarter are down 26%. Either:

1)They knew at the start of the quarter (share price 32) that production was going to be reduced and didn't announce it until December after it had already lost 50% of its value

or

2)Sales were down for the whole quarter and the announcement at the end of the quarter was a smoke screen.

If demand is so great and they are selling all they can make, why the marketing campaign? Hmmmmmm...
