In exchange for the mostly unregulated roll-out that self driving cars are seeing right now, there should be an absolute requirement that these companies make ALL of their data available. The data from Tesla today is good to hear, but it is woefully incomplete. We need apples to apples comparisons. How does Autopilot do versus cars without Autopilot? How about AP versus non-AP on highways? in cities? at night?

Some of the data wont make self driving cars look good but transparency matters and will help in the long run.
