I have seen a lot of people hang onto jobs and die with their boots on. They become their jobs. Not sure why she didn't but no one thought DLJ would win. Also after the Reps took over the Senate it wouldn't have done any good.... Did anyone in the administration push for it? I don't know what her motivation was for staying but some people just don't want to stop. I know a guy who won't until he was 99 and was probably worth 9 figures...
