I reveiwed the comments attributed to Jeff Goodman directly with Don Cameron today, Don confirmed the Northridge office is closed and the in house selling of shares has stopped. The investor relations activities are being consolidated to the San Diego office which should result in a significant reduction in expenses. Jeff Goodman, whose employement terminated with the closing of the office, also indicated the shareholders meeting would be at the end of January. Don indicated the meeting would be held around the second week of February and proxy materials will be mailed in the next week to ten days.
Goodmans projections of the stock price in Don's opinion are unrealistic in the time frame mentioned and are in an absolute contravention to the companies policy of not commenting on future stock pricing. His naming of potential clients, while being very positive news, is also in contravention to company policy. The practice of disseminating news too early can actually hurt a company more than help.
Don also mentioned that they are adding to the sales force since they are extremely busy with the rapid expansion of their client base. In his own words "I'm traveling so much these days that I've forgotten what my family looks like, business just won't slow down".
While refusing to speculate on the stock price Don believes 1998 will be a far better year for TSIS than 1997 and if investors need to contact the company they can be reached at (800) 931-5050.
