I am still bearish "short-term". SEA, DRAM prices, and earnings disappointments have clobbered the "January effect". I think your 20% downside risk is true for some, EGLS, LRCX, SVGI, UTEK, etc., but for others, AMAT, KLAC, NVLS, etc., the "favorites", the 96 bottom is another 50% down. That said, I am holding the positions I acquired in 96 and the spring of 97 and I am preparing to add more if the prices move lower. I will be in a position to double my initial investment in semi-equips if they fall significantly from here.

My most recent purchases were SPCT(22.22), XLNX(30), and ADPT(20.875), diversification from semi-equips.
