Bob, I submit there are a lot of misunderstood evaluation/price movements in the market this year. Many stocks are not responding well to good evaluation numbers. COHU is certainly one of them but there are many more. The semis are having a "tough time" recently while the DOW and S&P-500 are doing quite well, and the COMPX(+12.8%) is doing the best of all as shown in the weekly summary tables just posted this past weekend. Message 31824783 Looking at COHU specifically, the earnings are up, but the price has not responded since the first of the year. PE values have been driven down while earnings estimates have gone up.
