You're changing the argument. No one is arguing against paying whatever taxes they owe.

The debate was over the amount of taxation. Caesar was accused by the Jews of excessive taxation, so they tried to trap Jesus into saying that unjust taxes shouldn't be paid.

Jesus turned the trap back around and told them what believers ought to focus on.

You're taking scripture out of context and completely changing its meaning, just like Beauregard Sessions.
