I don't think the FED is clueless. I think they know exactly what they are doing, how could they not? If you live long enough it's like watching the same movie play over and over again.

If they just left rates alone, never lowering, never raising, the economy would just be stable. They have proven, that no matter how hard the bubble pops, how bad they destroy the economy. They can create another bubble.

So the only question I have goes to motive. Why do they keep repeating this cycle. The only answer I can come up with is it's all done as an asset grab. Get the population in debt then crash the economy and take the asset that created the debt at pennies on the dollar.
