Foster has only one major flaw. That is, from time to time
he thinks he can become a market timer and time the market.
Right now he seems to think the risk is on the downside.
Unfortunately, he may be proven terribly wrong if the
market completes the testing process in the 7300-7500
area this month and then heads north in a big way.
I suspect Brandywine Fund may lose its coveted position
on the Marketimer Recommended List if Foster continues
to trumpet his bearish views in a market that appears to
have very little downside whatsoever below the 7300-7500 area.
Foster is a guy who had his head handed to him during the fourth
quarter in his Brandywine Fund and then turned bearish afterwards!
Sounds very much like locking the barndoor after the horse is gone.
