brummie you may want a nanny state, but I believe people need to be responsible for themselves. Any job where the is work in or on the water is dangerous. And working with anything weighing tons is dangerous. Now if you have bad brain genes or have been educated by people like those who educated you, there is no way for some ivory tower nannycrat to save your ass from your own stupidity.

That's just the way it is. But more folks get killed taking dumb selfies than killed by fish. So maybe the smart phone makers should all be sued.

And taking selfies is not a sport. But the stupid selfie accidents are entertaining.
