Bell South's published tariff in the State of GA lets them surcharge any use of ISDN lines (voice or data) beyond 200 hours. In other states, only the data is subject to the surcharge and voice calls are unlimited. This is a political issue hammered out on a state by state basis. Your so called superpots lines are treated exactly like data calls for purposes of the surcharge. However, the ISP (as opposed to the TELCO) could care less what you do w/your pots lines insofar as 56K goes. My ISP, Mindspring, only would charge if I was using both pots lines at once. That would mean 2 computers calling the ISP and using the same acct at the same time. Check out the dcom.isdn newsgroup. All of the above is always being discussed there. The scenario you describe is unique to your state or whatever states are less pro telco.
