I wasn't familiar with CTT and took a look. I see that Brad Thomas went to a strong buy in June when it was higher. I have never done very well with timing of commodity based securities other than energy and that isn't stellar. I have lost on gold, silver, lumber, potash. coal; and probably a few others. I won't jinx it, so I will stay out! Some guys like Intrepid have done well though. I typically invest a small portion in more speculative securities. It all depends on your personal situation. I would put CTT in a more risky category but they do have real underlying assets...
