I thank God every moment of the day for this cold and flu he is testing me with, 2 1/2 weeks now and slowly feeling better. Went for a late lunch today at a little Greek pizza place, we sat in the bar area near the VLTs. I enjoy watching people who can’t do math invest their money, in this case the restaurant owner and cook. I ordered chicken-souvlaki and rice and said I feel lucky and put $50 in Golden Goddess and kept hitting max-bets. I attribute my actions to the joie de vivre I was feeling from being almost over this cold and flu. Before the waitress brought my orange-pekoe tea I was up to $108 and cashed out. To make it even better she brought me pork-souvlaki and had to go back and make the chicken. After paying for two lunches and leaving a generous tip I had my original $50 back plus another $10 and the dogs got two sticks of pork-souvlaki as a supper-appetizer.
