A FEW OBSERVATIONS:

From ZEN NR:
"The researchers further concluded that, due to the size of its flakes, the exfoliation productivity of graphite derived from Zenyatta’s unique Albany deposit in Northern Ontario performed up to 1500% better than the researchers’ reference flake graphite materials"

ITS OFFICIAL!!!........ZEN is no longer trying to compete with synthetic. Comparisons are to FLAKE graphite.

Particle (flake) sizes in ZEN's claimed range are going for way under $1,000/tonne. No worries, end-users will gladly pay $1,000 to $6,000 per ounce for ZEN material. Won't they?

ITS APPLES AND ORANGES!!!........ "Albany Graphite particles reach a 2 µm particle size with a standard milling process, while the reference flake graphite material could not mill below a 3 µm particle size..." Flake Graphite IS READILY AVAILABLE in the talc sized particles that ZEN supplied (at a tiny fraction of ZEN's claimed selling price). Were further tests conducted using flake material of the same particle size? If yes, where are the results? If no, WHY NOT?

ITS IMMATERIAL!!!........ZEN no longer makes the high-purity graphite that was being tested in the above NR. The results were obtained from lab-scale production samples. The process has changed. The impurities have increased and contain at least 2 metals.
