'Foliar feeding' that used to be called, by chemical fertiliser companies promoting it, they had highly soluble versions of product that you metred into overhead irrigation systems ... one of them sent me quite a book on the subject once, just because i had an account at a farm supply place, also brochures with before/after photos of spraying with various mixtures, there were clear strong effects, for sure ... as i recall the main nutrients cited were nitrogen, potash, and a few of the trace elements ... never heard silicon mentioned in relation to foliage, it has known effects on roots [part of why grasses tend to like high levels of sand in soil, they say] ... but there is so much new in soil science, i don't doubt the statement that it's 'been proven to induce crops’ resistance and increase its protection against pests and diseases' ... although, you know those have been considered the main benefits of potassium for about a century and a half, so if it's a silicate of potassium you're applying, then which is doing what, exactly ...
And how do they get it to stick to the foliage for long enough to be absorbed - some kind of gel, maybe? ... sure would need to be ground fine in the first place, and may need special pumps and sprayer gear, being fairly abrasive no matter how fine [? - i should think]
... aaanyway, i saw the very good news early and did not add shares ... partly from being obsessed with PMs again, also there was a special drill play happening, but also because now there are financing questions again, for next-stage capex ... and heading into the local monsoon season, another long winter ahead ... plus there was a gap, with real good chances of closing imho, takes a print of .67 and npk will be high on my list when it does
But to CV - excellent show sir! ... it sounds like you are taking care of your customers, that's what needs doing ... also, good to see the name of your country spelled correctly, for a change - as a brasiliano you can get away with that, lol [i never could figure out why the french go on about a town called Londres, when there is no such place] ... [and recently on a political site i was chided for using an S in Bra_il] |
