"Notify Open Chart Suites to Select the Same Ticker": This is a useful tool found in ProTA 4 Preferences.

For example, if you want to analyze day, week, and month charts, You create a Chart Suite with the stock tickers you want to analyze in the Chart Suite's Content List. Next you apply the template for the daily analysis. Under the chart drop down menu you select "Sync Contents" and "Sync Time Scales." This template can have several chart panes, for example: one chart pane for each indicator used in the analysis. You save this template using a name like daily. Then you apply the weekly template, and save using a name like weekly, and so forth for monthly also. Then you open up all three Chart Suites and put them side by side. In Preferences check the box "Notify Open Chart Suites to Select the Same Ticker". Now, when you tab through the Chart Suite Contents List, all three Chart Suites will update to the next ticker, automatically applying the appropriate template to each Chart Suite.

The only other way I know to do this is to create a Chart Suite for each ticker where the Chart Suite has three charts (3 X 1). Using this method you have to create and save a Chart Suite for each ticker. Very time and labor intensive.

Using the "Notify Open ..." preference you only have to apply the templates once. ProTA will apply the templates to each ticker in the Contents List automatically as you tab through the Contents List.
