I agree that just making deals may not be an organization. Although, one of my former clients (the "We Buy Ugly Houses" company) prior to becoming a franchise had something of an organization before its franchise operation. So, just deals can be an organization. An abstract of title for a good sized city tract can be feet thick. So, just one deal can turn easily into an organization.
Your point is taken, however, that most of Trump's dealings were on his own behalf, negotiating deals. Still, the operations of some of those companies are pretty big organizations.
And even small casinos are large organizations. Large organizations are bigger operations than most localities. It is true, he made some mistakes in the casino operations, but we learn by our mistakes.
I can't really think of anything that would better prepare a person for running government than operation of a few casinos -- and losing one's fortune at it. Yes, I'm serious. |
