Hmmmm, interesting. Apparently our favorite developer didn't summarize all the existing features and then ensure they were *all* readily available in the "new" feature. I can understand how implementation of a new provider's toolset might differ in its user interface from what the loyal user base is accustomed to, but completely removing (or simply forgetting) an existing feature is not what this old retired software developer would call "progress". Picky, picky, picky.

Another irritant has been added, also. I recently started getting a message about "AdBlock Plus". I don't use it. Never have, never will. Nor any other similar product. I understand and can appreciate the revenue model.

All they should worry themselves about is if they were able to display an ad. What the user does with it (if anything) should be irrelevant to SI.

But, not to worry. I can probably work around it.

Maybe during some of the times I don't get the message, I might occasionally click on one of the ads. Then, totally ignore whatever pops of, of course. Maybe I could automate that process so I don't spend my few remaining years on this earth clicking ads just to satisfy the needs of an egotistical and overbearing admin.

Maybe I should keep a log about which posts get interrupted/rejected by the "AdBlock Plus" message. Then, I could look back at the specific times when I didn't get the message, and determine what worked and what didn't work. Then, I could avoid doing whatever it was that I did (or didn't do) that caused it to think I was "cheating".

Unfortunately, the silly and irritating time display format does not lend itself to analytical endeavors. "Last Tuesday" in the post directory listing doesn't help much.

Sigh.

Say, have I mentioned lately that …

CENSORSHIP SUX !!!!

Sure is a pretty day.
