On CNBC US Investment Strategist for Morgan Stanley just discussed the Asian effect and said the it ISN'T going to have such a drastic effect on earnings as some have thought.

Specifically he used CPQ as an example of a company who's price has been wrongly hard hit and that (1) the cost of product production in asia has been reduced (increasing profitability) AND (2) Europe and Latin America have more than taken up any slack of any sales decline in asia.

THEREFORE, CPQ should have very good earnings and the share price should have some goood upward movement.
