TA: There really are two issues. How effective and safe is Viagra? And what are the best ED stocks to invest in?
The answer will to #1 will be determined within months by the FDA, at the AUA meeting, and via published peer-reviewed clinical articles. Right now, you're pessimistic and I'm optimistic based on gut feelings and very little published data. We sure have done a great job analyzing a small early 12 patient study! However, I believe that Newsweekarticels are not a great clinical reference here.
The answer to #2 has to do with experience, management, your own forecasts for the future, market psychology, and media. Newsweek cover articles are a great indicator here. Also, check out this week's Business Week Inside Wall Street.( I will post the link on the SI Pfizer Board.)
TA, since you are a physician, I respect that you are very concerned by the #1 issue. As an investor, I am more concerned with issue #2 with the realization, that for ED stocks, Viagra's changing status and issue#1 will have an impact.
