the problem w/ this official saudi approach is that the trump shall either have to back the story, by saying, "i choose believe the story", or call out saudi arabia by noting "bullcrap"
i guess saudi arabia could not wait to see what if anything the alleged recordings might reveal. trump failed to help them on that score since no one can afford to wait out the turks on the recording leak, if the recording exist.
am supposing that multiple nations now know whether the recording exists, and what it contains, either via own direct recording at the consulate, or by leaks from sources with access to the recording.
