Dr D You can run with the trend or stand aside, but you should not, regardless of sector fundamentals, run counter to the trend. Better to live and trade another day then to get squished. So, what is the trend? The Chart says "not up." Fundamentals say that, when other conditions are in place (higher oil prices; stability in OPEC procudtion; more stability in SE Asia), this sector could fly. All of the great fundamental information offered on this thread should allow you to invest with confidence when the trend turns up. Mike
